Installing CentOS 6.4 on Dell PE R720

Hi I have to install CentOS 6.4 on a Dell R720 Server in the morning with the following configs, I just wanted to know if anyone has had any issues doing this?
I have downloaded the CentOS 6.4 DVD bin 1 and DVD2 and made a bootable USB drive as well.
RAID 6 partitioning: /40GB, /200 Boot, 2GB Swap and the remaining disk space used for backups

Sounds like you have a plan.  You are not doing anything incredible rare, you should be fine!

the OpenManage DVD that ships with the server would that have the Red-Hat/CentOS files it needs for the setup...or will I need to download it from the Dell support/download site?
would it be an .iso file I just burn to DVD and bootup?
No. But when you select that as the OS to  install, it prepares the system (along with any special drivers and hardware management agents that aren't automatically part of the distro) so it will be setup optimally. Once the tool has made all the preparations you will have to insert the downloaded OS you want to install.
ok perfect, thanks alot!
will do this in about 2 hrs - will post back of any issues if any I encounter.
would drivers be an issue for the setup?  just wondering...
Sometimes drivers for the RAID controller can be an issue, as not all of them are already provided by the Linux kernel, particularly on the "conservative" distro's which don't have all the newest stuff included, like Red-Hat and CentOS.
can the latest download of the OpenManage server build/update DVD help with the driver issue - just wondering how to tackle this issue if it comes up tomorrow.

so my Dell R420 install went fine
the Dell R720XD server showed up without a DVD/CD drive - so I prepped a bootable USB drive and the install wizard was different than the R420 setup...
I am taking an external dvd usb drive with me onsite on Wed to continue.

I have to Bond the 2 nics on both the R420 and R720xd servers - is this fairly straight forward to do?

Thanks,
Hi Rindi, do you know if bonding the NICs on both servers to 2 differnt Cisco Catalyst 2960 switches is going to be an issue?
