Password encryption in php to access mysql database

I have a password in php code that reads:

//put sha1() encrypted password here - password here is 'Teropass1'
$password = '28a5d61d406847f801fcc6421866f73eae2342f5';

I need to change that Teropass1 but I need to know how to generate the encrypted password as well because I have to change both for the page to work.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Just run the new password through the php sha1() function and you've got what you need.
