Windows 8 on domain

Our newly setup for Windows 8 has problem.
After startup most computers are very slow for 2 to 30 minutes. The cause is the disk who runs on 100% load and has about 1000-4000 ms seek time.
We have 15 Dell 3.2ghz Pentium and the are slow about 2-5 after startup but the newer computer mostly Gigabyt and Asrock with Intel Duo are much longer on this heavy disk load.

We have 2 domain controllers , one 2003 and one 2008R2

Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Do the machines run like slow like this before they are joined to the domain?

I have not checked if they run slow before join the domain. I have several's other Win8 who are not on domain and they are ok.

I took one Gigabyte computer off the domain but it did not change anything. The disk runs on 100% load (5000-18000ms) for about 20-30 minutes after reboot.
All the computers have the same Win8 image with several kinds of applications. They are running Office 2013 and Open Office and many other programs. Those computers are used in elementary school. The images was deployed from Win 2012 WDS. All those computers had Windows 7 before with most of the application we are using now. We had no issue with the harddisk then.

Resource monitor should show you what process is using the disk during this time. Let's start with that
Sounds like there is something wrong with the image.

Perhaps you should create a "gold" master image from scratch - manually - then capture and deploy that using WDS.
