email search only going back 1 day

So we had a problem where a lot of users couldn't search their inbox.  We rebuilt all of the indexes for each mailbox, rebooted the server, and now, it works, but it only searches back for the last 48 hours.  We are running Exchange Server 2007 on a Win 2008 R2 box.  most of the users here use windows xp or windows 7 with Outlook 2007.  Any ideas?

Or setup new db and move few test user to new db and check it again.

Rebuilding indexes can take some time depending on your database size, check event logs for any indexing errors.
