when you say the connection keeps dropping do you mean that the xbox will lose its connection to the wireless or that the xbox stays connected but cannot get onto the internet? Do you have any other devices connected to the wireless? If so, do these devices have issues with connection.

Is there any overlapping channels in your house/apartment that could be causing the issue? I use an app on my Android phone called "Wifi Analyzer" this allows me to see all the nearby wireless networks and will show me what channel they are on so I know if the two wireless networks are conflicting. If they are (Say your network and another are on channel 6) then I would change your channel for your wireless to channel 1 or 11.

only wireless connection in the house,  the xbox loses connection , internet is active
laptop seems to be fine connected
Are you running the latest firmware on the SonicWALL? How far away is the xbox from the SonicWALL? Did you manually create the profile on the xbox or did you use a wizard to create the profile. I would try to disassociate the xbox from the wireless and then reconnect it, after the latest firmware is installed to ensure that there is no setting mismatch.

getting UDP Packet Dropped  UDP Port: 5709
I do not believe that is the reason your xbox is losing the connection to the internet.

Have you tried disconnecting your xbox from the wireless and reconnecting it again ( by deleting the profile)

Have you tested plugging the xbox directly into the router to see if it is perhaps an overall network issue and not just a wireless issue?
