Java - socket not yet bound! why?

Hi
I have standard TCP socket setup, and it keeps on crashing on accept()
It replies that the port is -1
What could be wrong?

Thanks

	ServerSocket serverSocket;

	public DRWserver( int playerCount) {

		numClientsExpected=playerCount;
		numClients=0;

		start();

	}

	public void run()  {

		System.out.println("Creating TCP socket");

		serverSocket = new ServerSocket();

		System.out.println("Created TCP socket on port "+serverSocket.getLocalPort());
		boolean AcceptingClients=true;

		while (AcceptingClients) {

			System.out.println("\nClient accept()");
			Socket socket = serverSocket.accept();

			System.out.println("Client join");
			System.exit(0);
		}

			System.out.println("\nDRWserver run ex : "+e);
			e.printStackTrace();

A server socket has to listen on a specific port number. Pick one (above 1024) and pass that value to the constructor on line 28.
