# SUMIF problem

Folks,
I am trying to sum if values from A3:A12 are >=2500 and <5000. See below:
``````sumif(A3:a12>=2500<5000,a3:a12)
``````

Hi fh,

Try SUMIFS instead, lets you specify multiple criteria.
=SUMIFS(A3:A12,A3:A12,">=2500",A3:A12,"<5000")

I'm not sure I understand what you mean. My formula should return the sum of values in your range (a3:a12) which are between 2500 and 4999. Is there a different range that should be summed up?

EDIT: Typo

The value returned from your formula = TRUE. The range is correct. Sum all values >=2500 <5000
