Formula for passing variables Page N of M from Sub Reports to Main Report so page numbers match

I have a report that has 2 subreports in it. Is there a formula that allows me to pass the page N of M function from the first Sub Report to the Second Sub Report to the final page of the Main Report so that when it says 10 of 10 the previous pages have preceded in order.....? If so what is that formula.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

What are you trying to do?

Subreports don't have page footers

There are two Subreports in the report header of the primary report. They they are a Detail Report and a Summary report. When the parameters are passed they will run accordingly and the page N of M is at the bottom in the Primary Report and shows up on the last page only. Does that help I thought there was a way to pass that or something through to the other pages.
You can pass the page number to the subreports but since they don't have page footers, there is no easy way to use the value.

Try this idea

Add a formula to the report

Add a group to the report based on the new formula
Drag it so it is the first group (if your report already has groups

PUt you subreports in the group header
IN that way the main report is started and page footers will print
