Correct order for audio book

So I'm transferring an audio book from iTunes to my iPod.  How do I make sure it plays in the correct order.  It looks like the naming conventions from CD1 to CD2 ... are different.

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I believe that once you buy the Book in Itunes it syncs it to your iPod as a whole book.
As the book is complete as is it should just load correctly.
Depends how or what you are transferring.
If you bought the CD?
Transferring them can come with exactly those problems
Transfer audio book CDs to an iPod using Itunes to import the CD.

this is another how to transfer the audio CD
If  it is mp3
MP3 audiobooks transferred from the Overdrive Media Console are placed in the “music” folder on your iPod, not in the audiobook folder like the WMA audiobooks.
Connect your iPod to your computer and wait for iTunes to finish syncing and backing up the files.
Hope it  helps
