How do you test whether Wincache for PHP is working?

hi guys,

I've got a server 2008 running with IIS, and php 5.3. I have memcache on there.

I've installed Wincache for PHP.

Can anybody here let me know how we can test whether Wincache is working as it should be? What do we run?

Not to be flip, but why did you install it if you didn't know what it was going to do?

Maybe try using this function: http://www.php.net/manual/en/wincache.stats.php
First thing check if it is loaded
Create a file on the server called phpinfo.php and add this to it

Call the page in your browser and see if WinCache is listed under the installed modules

installed correctly. All good.

As for why, my guys who are developers asked me to help them. Also, there will always be a time when you don't know until you know. Now I know how to install it. As for how to optimise it, I will learn that along the way.

Thanks for helping
