Create a .pst file in Outlook for messages in a folder

I have a lot of emails in a folder on a windows machine. I want to put all of the messages in a .pst file in outlook. Is there a way to do this? There are about 2000 emails. I'm using outlook 2010.

Can you by chance describe the email in the folder?  Like saved messages? If so from what program?

Outlook email messages, with the .msg extension. I have outlook installed. Duoble clicking a message opens it with outlook.
Create a pst-file or temp folder in Outlook. Then you can drag n' drop those msg-files into that pst/folder Outlook. It should import it automatically.

open outlook, in the upper "start" ribbon select "new elements" -> go down to more/more elements(the last in the list) -> choose outlook data-file, again at the bottom of the list.
select a name and a place to save it.

now you have created a new .pst file which shows up in your email accounts pane on the left.
you can now create new elements IN that pst file (like calendar, email folder, contacts, etc.. - just right click that pst and choose new folder -> after that choose the folder type and name

when you have created the structure you want you can go about shovelling emails in there (via drag and drop)
