Memcache installed. How to get memcache to work with MySQL?

Hey guys,

We currently have a windows server 2008 iis running the below

Current php version 5.3.3
Current memcache version 1.2.6
Current memcache dll 2.2.7

We are having a issues trying to get memcache to work with mysql. Do we require an additional extension to handle queries. Or are there any additional configurations you can point me to making?

Please tell us a little more about the issues.  In particular, can you point us to the PHP.net man page that tells the function descriptions for what you're trying to do?

Straight to the point. We have been able to install and configure memcache on our windows server.

However the PHP PECL extension mysqlnd_memcache doesnt seem to have a .dll for PHP.

We are looking for an extension for windows to manage translations of sql queries for memcache.

pecl.php.net/package/mysqlnd_memcache is our source.
Switch to memcached
Then it is a simple process to store in memory your query results against a key

Example tutorial here on how to set the key in memory and use your sql as an identifier to check against for future queries

I assume you do mean caching the results...
