Date and Datetime are a binary field type, what you see in BROWSING a DBF is always a conversion to a human readable format. On the one side that doesn't matter, on the other side as in MSSQL conversion of strings to binary dates or datetimes is done with current settings for date format. But there are setting independant ways to specify a datetime,

For example if you have year,month,day, hour, minute, second simply put it into the commandtext as TIME>=DATETIME(2012,12,31,23,59,59)

Or as  TIME>={^2012-12-31 23:59:59}

.NET gives you tons of ways to format a datetime type to a string as you need it, eg using the TryParseExact method, see http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-US/library/vstudio/8kb3ddd4.aspx

Bye, Olaf.
