Migrate from Quickbooks Enterprise to Quickbooks Pro

I have a customer running QuickBooks Pro 2002.  They just bought out a company running QuickBooks Enterprise 8.0.  The accountant is now running two computers one from company A and another computer from company B.  They want to eliminate one of the computers.  My recommendation is to upgrade the Pro 2002 to 2013 and migrate the data from Enterprise 8.0 to Pro 2013.  Is it possible to migrate from Enterprise to Pro?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

How about this?  The enterprise version is running on a Windows 8 desktop.  The Pro version is running on an XP desktop.

Can I install Pro on the Windows 8 machine as to eliminate the XP desktop and have both QuickBooks Enterprise 8 and Pro 2002, or 2013 if they upgrade, installed on the same computer?

You sure can.  In our finance dept they have QuickBooks 2004 and 2012 running on the same machines.  I don't see why your versions would be any different.

That is assuming Quickbooks 2002 will run on Windows 8 and not have any compatiblity issues.
