"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

This article is very helpful. It has power script examples and further down the page a cmd prompt example:
1) Using ForFiles to delete files over 90 days old:

C:\> forfiles /p "C:\source_folder" /s /m *.* /c "cmd /c Del @path" /d -90

2) Using Robocopy /Move to delete files over 90 days old:

C:\> set _robodel=%TEMP%\~robodel
C:\> MD %_robodel%
C:\> ROBOCOPY "C:\source_folder" %_robodel% /move /minage:90
C:\> del %_robodel% /q

3) Using DateMath.cmd and Getdate.cmd, download DelOlder.cmd

4) With PowerShell delete files over 90 days old:
PS C:\> $now = get-date
PS C:\> dir "C:\source_folder\" | where {$_.LastWriteTime -le $now.AddDays(-90)} | del -whatif
