Crystal Reports Database Login Dialog Box

Hello All,

I'm using vb2012 to run a crystal report.  Whenever the user runs this report the Database Login dialog box appears asking for the password.  This has been an intermittent issue that's driving me crazy, any one know what this happens?

Things I've tried to fix the issue:
1. Remove odbc connection and add new one
2. Uninstalled all odbc drivers and reinstalled
3. Uninstalled crystal runtimes files and reinstalled
4. Recreated the report with a different name

All have failed, we still receive this dialog box.  I run it on my machine and it works fine.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

Jim

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Try to Adjust your reports using SetDatabaseLogon Method
        Dim cryRpt As New ReportDocument
        cryRpt.Load("Path\MyReport.rpt")
        cryRpt.SetDatabaseLogon("UserName", "Password", "Server", "Database")
        cryRpt.Refresh()

If those ideas don't work, please post the code you are using to run the report.
