I have looked for a solution be everytime I think I have one the software does not work or no support to get it too work. My question us has anyone have something like this running?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

And you have Activesync configured and running on the exchange server?  Do the user accounts have activesync enabled for them on their mailboxes?

What have you done so far?

The users have been using sync for a few years on their smartphones however the need to sync the shared calendars also is a new twist. Everything I have read says exchange will not sync shared calendars to a smartphone, must use 3rd parth software.

Im not sure if a 3rd party app has achieved this yet but if our doing the corporate sync it only syncs the primary calendar.

There are many work arounds I have used for the Iphone like publishing iCals to be able to show shared calendars and also needs to be configured on exchange.  Along with Droid phones there are many workarounds that involve syncing to google calendar and all that garbage and when it breaks for some odd reason it can be a real pain.

I tried the install and when it failed I unstalled using their method. Then re-installed it. It fails at the same point each time. I emailed them and set online waiting for chat for 2 hours, even tried calling.

Opened up a quickchat with them and this is their response:

Nrhode:

Just have some general questions of what I all have to have

I have exchange 2007 and want to sync shared calendars on a droid phone

Do i have to have outlook to accomplish this?

Support:

you do not. You can easily accomplish that directly with CodeTwo Exchange Folders: http://www.codetwo.com/exchange-folders?sts=1649.

The administration app needs to be deployed on the server, the client can be downloaded from Google Play store for free

When I chatted with them yesterday I was told I needed Code Two Exchange Sync do to the need to sync email. The folders sync does nothing wit email

Nick RhodeIT DirectorCommented:
You would probably need both then I am assuming.  Folder syc for calendars and exchange sync for email

According to thier brocher http://www.codetwo.com/exchange-folder-sync/ it does all

I would say you have to somehow manage to get support from them.  You stated it installed on the exchange and is that admin console configured.  I am not fully aware of this program but as mentioned it states you download the app from the google play store and I assume connect with the app.

The Exchange sync as I understand it has a console that will sync the folders together as one and then normal sync sends it out as a synced calendar
