My OS is win 7 prof 64 bit and I use Excel 2007.
I have not used Excel for a long time.
I am trying to write a formula.
Say in col c3 the value is an integer
and say in col d4, I want to insert the formula 50% of C3.  how do I insert this formula.
Thank u.
3 Solutions
in c4 put in =.5*c3
Or =C3/2

Personally I like Netcmh's better

So if C3 is 11 you want D4 to show 5.5?

The formulas suggested by netcmh and LCCSAM should work OK for you but if you want it to explicitly look like 50% then try this version
