I'm curious as to the story behind this one!
Is it a shared calendar or is it their personal calendars.... If its one shared one it will be much easier than many personal ones.

If you are Exchange admin it is very easy. Take permission for each mailbox. Connect to each mailbox via owa or outlook and delete it.
Powershell can be used to remove mailbox items.

Find this line in the link provided:
•To find and delete items from a group of mailboxes, such as all mailboxes on a database, run the following command

i am exchange admin but cant remote it from everyone calendar to many people.

The story, A user was a high level user who had tons of meetings on a recurring schedule with other people.

She is now gone, all of the people have the meetings on there calendar still.
Have a request to silently remove the items from the users calendars.

Ive looked up several ways to do it but none involves silently removing the items

i understand but once its cancelled it still shows up in everyones calendar
ya that is the design it works. I know what you are looking, but that is not easy to do. whatever way you do it, manual efforts are there to complete this task.
Powershell will do it, but you cannot use your Admin Acct.
By default Exchange Admins are blocked from Mailbox access - but can change all aspects of a mailbox.
You need an accoun that has rights to all mailboxes (eg AV system acct)
