Hi,

Please check 'Save Instant Messages' option is enabled.

Also, please keep Lync Client updated with latest patches. Following is an update which you could install for fixing this issue.

Sorry, I might not have been clear. The issue is that when a user contacts me and I'm not at my pc after a certain amount of time lync will send me an email saying that I missed a conversation. it's not doing that for all of our users.

Lync is "saving" the IM conversations to the outlook conversation folder.
Please check whether the option 'Save call logs in my email Conversation History Folder' is enabled. This feature controls if missed conversations are updated in mailbox.

Yes. It is enabled. This is effecting many users all of a sudden.

I found the mapi line and it says status OK.

But still not working. Anything else I should check?
Please verify status of Exchange Web Service (EWS) as well. Lync 2010 depends on EWS for many operation while connecting to mailbox.

Please verify that the SIP Address in Lync and Email Address are same. If these are different, then Lync wont be able to connect to the mailbox thru EWS.

Also, please test AutoDiscover configuration using Test Email AutoConfiguration option in Outlook. AutoDiscover is critical because it provides EWS URLs.
