How to add custom fields to iPhone contacts?

I want to add some custom filed into my iPhone contacts, such as favorites, spot.
Is there any way to allow me to add it directly by iPhone, not via Mac?

Thank you.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

@dickchan - you cannot add custom fields to contacts in the iPhone or iPad on iOS.  Only the pre-defined fields can be used.

There are a number of fields such as "suffix", "job title" which you may not be using on any of your current contacts and you could store custom data in these fields but you cannot create new custom fields.
