Printer problems

I have connected to and installed the driver for a network printer on a user's computer, but it won't print out anything. Not sure what's going on. Any advice?

can you confirm the printer make &  model number?

check the security settings on the printer, does the user have permissions to print?

can you ping the printers IP address on the network and does this match the port address on the printer installed on the users PC?

does the job enter the queue on the printer or does nothing happen at all?

right-click your printer and go to "see whats printing" > upper left corner of printer windows click "Printer" > make sure use printer offline is not checked.

Also check the IP assigned to the printer in the printer properties under the ports tab
