wcf test mode

recently, i involved writing alot of wcf / c#, and test them on window/test client under visual studio folder. It is working okay but I have to refresh and test again and again, and I start looking for something that I can test thing more efficient when I have to test something more complex.

1. Can you show me how to test it in local console?
2. Show me another way I can test it? Just like other WCF programmer may use as usual.

Thanks, and have a nice weekend.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

To test your WCF service via a Console application you simply need to "Add Service Reference"--pointed at your WCF service--from within your Console application. Once you do that, you will get a class (mentioned in my link) that will allow you to interact with the WCF service. It will be (nearly) identical to the one you got when you added the service reference in your web application.
