Outlook 2010 email address autofill not working after every reboot.

Hi,

on windows 7 Outlook 2010 autofill will work for the day and remeber email addresses used and then after a reboot it will forget them.

I have tried resetting the options in the outlook settings as recommended by microsoft, but this continues to be a problem.

Is there a fix for this?

Hi navjump.

Can you confirm if are any add-ins that integrate with Outlook.

There are known issues that some add-ins can crash outlook and the Auto complete function stop working, in the past one of them was the Outlook change notifier from Itunes.

You can see your add ins on Outlook by going to:

File-> Options-> section: Add-Ins

And see what are the add ins inter acting with Outlook.

Also try repairing Office. Go to Programs and Features, click on Office and select Change then Repair.

Office now has 2 Service Packs. SP1 has been out for a while. SP2 is fairly new. Download and install SP2 for Office 2010.

Hi, yes I have emptied this and turned off all add-ins. I still have the same issues.

Any further ideas?

OK so a new profile clears this, is there no other way to resolve this?

Probably there are other ways of solving your problem, but will require more time, logging analysis, much more troubleshoot and of course had all your system replicated in a clone.

You can always try to investigate further your problem with time and patience you could find other solution.

Profiles are near impossible to fix, so best to create a new profile, get what you need from the old one and delete the old one.

Hi Guys, still struggling with this and have recreated profiles and reinstalled and tried everything yet th problem persists.
