installing ESXi in Vmware fusion

I am trying to install ESXi in Vmware fusion, but I keep getting the error displayed in the screenshot.

In the settings I reserved 4GB RAM for the ESXi. I am not sure why it is saying it needs more than 2GB of memory.

Any help will be very much appreciated.

Thanks

Reserved you mean set 4GB in the VM settings

Not reserved in the fusion host settings?

I do not see where you allocate memory to vmware fusion itself

Try "Virtual Machine > Settings >  Memory". I don't have my iMac available but I think thats where it is.

You need to ensure that you have set aside 4Gb for the VM.

Also, look at this link. It talks about building a custom VM with VM Fusion:
