"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Google find files thru links to them.  However... if you use your web browser to look at that file, you just may be telling a lot of people about it.  IE and Firefox often check to see if a file that you are loading is malware and when they do that, they keep track of it somewhere.  And Chrome is Google and I think that Chrome tells Google about every page you load.
