Help discovering multipath devices - HP EVA 4100 (HSV200) Lun
Hello.
I have trouble setting up multipath device in SLES11.
It is an old HP DL385 G2 server and SAN disks on HSV200 /HO EVA 4100)
When issuing multipath -ll it does not show anything. Also dmsetup snows "No devices found".
The only way I know something is connected is by listing direcotry:
/dev/disk/by-id/
where I can see th wwn-....

the commands helped me figure it out
I did not labeled the two servers correctly, therefore i have connected the "wrong one"(the other one) to the SAN.
after connecting the right on everything is working as it should !

Asymetric Logical Unit Access can confuse some multipath software. Confuses the hell out of me since Google search replaces "ULP" with "up" and won't give me me postable URLs for PDFs explaining how ALUA works.
