Active Directory Password Changed but Active sync still works
Hi all,
I've recently noticed that if we change a password on a user account through Active Directory, their Active Sync still works on their devices, specifically on iPhones and iPads.
I don't remember this being the case. Can anyone shed some light on this?
Thanks!

I found the solution, someone recently changed the authentication method from windows integrated to basic in IIS.

I followed the KB article in the link you provided. I don't have that key in the registry but just added it.
I should have also noted, that the test user accounting used had the password changed over two days ago and Active Sync is still working. I don't remember that being normal, I remember having to get users to update there password on their devices after they updated it on windows. That article says the default value is 15 minutes.
Thanks!
