How to Redirect Tomcat :80 to different site?

I have a webapp running (http://myserver.mydomain.com:8080/mywebapp)
I want to have the default tomcat page (http://myserver.mydomain.com) redirect to my webapp so there is no confusion from the end-users when they enter the URL.

What's the easiest way to do this? I'm using RHEL5.9 running Apache Tomcat Version 7.0.34

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Use apache , in specific use mod_proxy, that way apache will be on port 80 but it will redirect the connection to the tomcat.

Take a look to this link you will find what you need.

1. Change Tomcat's port to 80
