Creating Custom Receive Connector Exchange 2010 Edge Server

I need a create a custom inbound receive connector on our Edge Server for a specific external mail host.  They will be anonymous, and not authenticating to our server, just sending mail.  Are there any security mechanisms that need to be enabled for successful inbound mail flow, or should everything in the Authenication tab unchecked?

If they are anonymous, then just enable anonymous. Don't enable more than you need to.
