Hi, I have a stack of Cisco Switches that I would like to upgrade the OS version. There are setting already inside the switches. How can I upgrade the OS and keep the current setting, such as vlan, ports config and trunks ? Thanks

IOS and Configuration are two different files.
Upgrading the IOS does not affect the configuration. However, upgrading the IOS with another one with different features may cause a configuration to be disabled but still present.
See my video on youtube for a simple upgrade procedure

Just make sure that the config on your switch is supported in the newer code. Some commands have been depreciated now so won't apply when the stack reloads.
