Nexus 1000v

I have my Virtual Machine in Nexus 1000v.
The port used is vEthernet25. Like in normal physical switch port would like to see what is the speed & duplex the virtual Ethernet of my server is negotiated.

Is there any way I can check this in Nexus 1000v.

Can't you just connect to the VSM CLI and use the "show" command?

e.g: # show int vethernet25

Or am I reading the question wrong?

it does not show what speed & duplex the vethernet has negotiated.
It just shows "Auto"

What does following command give you:

#show interface brief

Veth19        1834   virt access up      none                       auto

It says auto

Hmmm I think the show command for the vethernet interfaces will show more details than auto/auto, unless you set these values as fixed.

Normally this gives you the necessary info:

#show interface veth1 status

still it shows duplex & speed auto....

Yes, hence I said, it will only show the actual speed if you set it fixed to some value (e.g: 1000 FD)

I don't have a Nexus handy, but from what I've seen that seems to be it.
