Windows 2008 R2 drive disconnects

Hello,

We've recently deployed a Windows Server 2008 R2 server, replacing a Windows Server 2003 machine.

I'm receiving reports that users suddenly lose links to applications that are accessed via network drive letters.  The symptoms indicate that there is a timeout after which the server is disconnecting the sessions, like an autodisconnect.

How can I setup Win2k8 to prevent these disconnections?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Try:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System]
"EnableLinkedConnections"=dword:00000001
