I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

or check the statics in vCenter Server, next to Hosts.

Hello,

Highlight the vCenter server - select the Data center and summary tab it will list out the all the details like number of Hosts, VM's etc.. you could calculate for each datacenter or add up for the entire datacenter.

Thanks,

Thank you ...the summary tab will show it.....I wonder if it is the same with resource pool...
I am not sitting in front of the Vsphere now,  but I believe the resource pool should have a summary tab that will show the number of VMs in it.
