.net 4.0 app does not work

HI I have a small all in vb12 compiled witg .net framework,
the exe works ust fine in my pc but when transfered to a remote pc it simply does not work.
NOt even a message nothing after double clicking on the exe.

The app is very small and does not use any database only scans for avalilable scanners and saves the image in pre-defined folder.

What could be missing in the remote computer. I already installed .NET framework 4

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

What kind of application is it? A console? A WinForm? WPF?
How did you copy the application to other computer, just the exe, or `bin\debug` folder or `bin\Release` folder, Try copying the folder instead of exe.

Habibosu: I copied folder "bin\debug" since "bin\release" was empty.

Have you made sure that you don't see a process running in the Task Manager once you double-click the icon? Perhaps the form is hidden (for some reason) on the remote machine.

just checked, no process in the taskmgr.
