Migrating user profiles

Hi all,

Have a number of XP machines that are being rebuilt with windows. Each user will be getting a new machines. But I would like migrate the users profiles to use on the windows 7 machines.

What is the best tool to use for this? I have looked USMT 4 tool but not entirely sure how to use this.

I want to capture the whole profile if possible.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.
