Can i move my SCCM 2012 Primary Site to a new server

Hi,

I have SCCM 2012 installed on a Windows 2008 R2 VM.

The SQL Database is on a different server.

I want to move the Primary Site to a new Windows 2012 VM with a different server name.

Is this possible?

thanks

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Of course is possible.
Backup your old sccm site using the built-in maintenance task. Instlal new server with the same name, drives and restore site;)
Here you have something about it http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg712697.aspx#BKMK_SiteBackup
