CSS to reset Input elements

Hello Experts,

I'm not a CSS expert, and I need to do a <form> using someone else's design, but no matter what number I replace ### with (10 or 1000) in the following code, I still get the same width...

<input type="text" size="###">

Open in new window

My question is how can I disable all styles to the <input> element and or the size attribute, so my code above would have affect?

Thank you.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

The size attribute does not denote the width of the input; rather it says how many characters should be permitted to be typed within the box. You are looking for the width attribute.
