Windows server 2008 Event ID's: 1085 + 8194 "Windows failed to apply the Group Policy Registry settings" + The client-side extension could not remove computer policy settings

Hi guys, anyone familiar with this issue and how to resolve it?
The full Error is:

Warning      09/10/2013 15:05:03      Microsoft-Windows-GroupPolicy      1085      None      "Windows failed to apply the Group Policy Registry settings. Group Policy Registry settings might have its own log file. Please click on the ""More information"" link."

Error      09/10/2013 15:05:03      Group Policy Registry      8194      (2)      The client-side extension could not remove computer policy settings for 'Default Domain Policy {31B2F340-016D-11D2-945F-00C04FB984F9}' because it failed with error code '0x8007000d The data is invalid.' See trace file for more details.

You may have to clear the local GPO cache of the computer :

- Browse to %ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Application Data\Microsoft\Group Policy\History
- Delete all subfolders
- Run gpupdate /force in an elevated prompt to reload policies (subfolders reappear and are repopulated with a clean copy of the GPOs)
