Reset dell drac card whilst server in use

Hi

Is it possible to factory reset a dell remote access controller while the server is in use? We have one and the logon details we have on file aren't working. I'd rather not have to schedule down time for it.

We have command lines to reset the drac config and IP address. We just need to know whether it might cause any issues to the server or it's users.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

No, it won't cause any interruption on the server.  It is a device nearly completely separate from the rest of the system.
