visio 2010 - How to set precise and even spacing between text boxes and object borders

See graphic - I could like to have a .25" space between the black border of my swimlane heading and the left edge of the text box.  What's the easiest/fastest way to set this up?
I also have uploaded the visio file.

ALSO, I can't seem to narrow the column widths (vertical lines) Separating columns one, two and three.  I can widen those columns but not narrow them.?  I need to narrow them.

My suggestion is that you work within the swimlane structure rather than adding text boxes to create column headings. When you add phase lines in a swimlane, as you've done, each phase can have its own header. Simply click once on the header portion of the phase and type your column header.

Once you've done that, you can use standard text tools to format the header font, size, color, etc. You can also set the left margin: right-click any phase header and select Format>Text and then click the Paragraph tab to see this dialog:
text format dialog I've set the indent to 0.1 but you can set it to anything you'd like.

I've attached an example.

Very nice solution.  Excellent.  I inherited this vsd file and didn't realize it was a tad cluttered with unnecessary elements.
Thank you Scott!
