Date Picker

Hello Experts,

Can anyone tell me a good and easy to install date picker for html?

Alternately, I have 3 drop downs:

first - 01 to 12

second - 01 to 31.

third - 2000 to 2050

If there any Java Script function to check if a string is a valid date like 02/31/2014 would be false?

HTML 5's date control does not work in all of the latest full release browsers, like IE10.

Thank you

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I generally don't care much for posting links, but as you have not given much information about requirements or a page link, I'm not going to guess what you might actually need.

So here is a selection from a simple Google search:

If none of those fill your needs then there are probably 25,000+ more that will show up in a Google search.

If you need something specific then you need to provide more information.

I am very surprised Cd&!  Your first choice is always html5.  You can simply use <input type="date">.  It is just not fully supported yet.

I have been using the jquery ui date picker although now I tend to use bootsstrap a lot as a base and like using this plug in

I decided to try and downloaded all .css and .js files, but cannot reach style.css, but maybe not applicable.

Everyhting works, except I am missing the left and right arrows to change the months. What do I do?

Here is my resulting code:

  <link rel="stylesheet" href="includes/calendar/jquery-ui.css" />
  <script src="includes/calendar/jquery-1.9.1.js"></script>
  <script src="includes/calendar/jquery-ui.js"></script>
  <!--link rel="stylesheet" href="/resources/demos/style.css" /-->

  $(function() {

    $('#txtDate').datepicker({ changeYear: true });

I've figured out the image name (and found it) of the arrows when the mouse is over them, by right clicking on the arrow > show image, then the browser shows missing file: C:\...

Now, the problem is how can find out the image required when the mouse is NOT hovered over the arrow?

If you uploaded all the files to the server as is you shouldn't need to monkey with any of the code.

Maybe post a link to your page for us to look at.
