problems modifying exchange distribution groups now they are moved to 2010
users are complaining that they cannot modify exchange 2010 distribution groups even though
they are in a group that has permission
under the properties of the distribution group the managed by field shows a red x and says object not found
i have seen something somewhere that this is maybe a bug in 2010 exchange
how can i fix this

no i have not removed it yet
but even i upgrade the group
i still have issues

is this the only work around
if you have around 200 distribution groups that change often every week
this would create a lot of manual intervention

If so then you can upgrade the groups to Exchange 2010 version:
Get-DistributionGroup –ResultSize Unlimited | Set-DistributionGroup –ForceUpgrade
