HP Server ML310e G8 and RAM Modules

Hi there,

I have an HP ML310e G8 Server which seems to have an issue with the RAM modules I've purchased for it.  As far as I could tell, KTH-PL313LV/8G's should be compatible, yet the server hangs at the boot screen with them in the correct DIMM's A,B&C (In fact any combination - even with just one module in DIMM A).

When we use the 2GB Samsung module that comes with the server we have no problems.

Is this likely to be a bios setting or a RAM exchange?

Thanks in advance.

Good call!  I'll find out tomorrow.
I've checked... latest BIOS from HP's web site is J04 dated August 24th. Which is exactly the same shown on the picture you posted. Let me think about something else...

yeah, been over to HP and verified that as-well.  Just seems to hate the RAM.
I kindly ask you to post the TXT report produced by CPU-Z. Thank you.
