Outlook 2013 icons changing

I am running outlook 2013, and even though I change the navigation options to "compact navigation", it does not save those options, as when I close outlook and restart, it uses the words instead, which is not compact.

How do I fix this, so it can save it for good. I have attached a picture for review.

Here are a couple of registry modifications that might help:

FOR THE FIRST STRING (To keep a compact navigation pane):
1.Press the START button and type in "regedit"
2.On the left side drill down to [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Outlook\Options]
3.Under EDIT in the toolbar select NEW>KEY and name it WunderBar. Make sure you have the new key selected.
4.Under EDIT in the toolbar select NEW>DWORD (32-bit) Value and name it ABCompact. Make sure you select it.
5.Under EDIT in the tool bar select MODIFY and change the value to 00000001

FOR THE SECOND STRING (To modify the order of the navigation items):
1.With regedit still open.

2.On the left side drill down to [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Outlook\Preferences]
3.Under EDIT in the toolbar select NEW>String Value and name it ModuleOrderAB. Make sure you select it.
4.Under EDIT in the tool bar select MODIFY and change the value to 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9
5.Adjusting the order of the numbers will adjust the order they appear in. For instance in my case I wanted NOTES to show up fourth so my string is 1,2,3,5,4,6,7,8,9.
