I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I use whocrashed.

Just copy the minidump files to your C:\Windows\minidump folder on your workstation and run the tool.  Scroll down for the results.

Do i have to run it on the computer which crashed? or any computer
Nick RhodeIT DirectorCommented:
Any Computer.  You just need the files copied to that workstation in that particular folder etc.

Otherwise you would use the windows debugging tool.  Its more involved but this is a decent guide to help you.
