Problem in Outlook Exchange

Hello Experts

I have Microsoft Oulook 2007 and configured with Exchange server. Suddenly i could see that all the emails in my outlook disappeared and cannot see those emails in any folder. Neither in ARCHIVE folder also.

I have kept the .ost file in scanning. The scanning is also not progressing. Can i cancel the scanning or is it risky to loose the emails if i stop scanning.

Please suggest solution to this problem.

The .ost file is only a cache of your Exchange mailbox. Try to check throw OWA is messages are visbles. If it is the case, just remove the .ost to create a new one
What version of Exchange?

The .ost is just a cached copy of what is on the server; it sounds like it might be more of an Outlook client issue. Can you connect to OWA to see the mailbox and messages?

If so, and everything is there, then I would just try recreating the Outlook profile.

I am not sure what you mean by "kept the .ost in scanning".

OWA is Outlook web access. It is a web portal which allows you to use a browser as your client. You should contact the server admin or host to find out the URL.
