Problem with OST file in Outlook 2007

Need urgent help on the problem with Microsoft Exchange File (.ost). When opened outlook express 2007, all the emails were lost except the mails of last 2 weeks.
I have the ost file and want to open the same file so that i can retrieve emails from them.
Need help as how to open the ost file or convert the ost file to pst to view the old emails and attach the pst to the outlook.

They are not deleted and i am not able to access the old ost file in outlook. Is there any way to convert the ost to pst.
There are 3rd party tools you would need to purchase or else configure the same EmailProfile as was for the OST and you should be able to open it

Tried with the same email profile also but still cannot open the old ost file.
Strange if its the Outlook profile for the user whos OST it is then it should surely openup
