Certificates for Exchange 2013 with ARR

Hello all,

I have a question regarding exchange 2013 3rd party certificates. I want to make sure that i purchase a certificate that will satify all the needs of exchange 2013.

Currently we have 2 cas servers and 2 mailbox servers running in coexistance with exchange 2007. Everything seems to be working correctly. I have a internal CA certificate for the internal users and that also works well. I also have a ARR setup.

We will be using webmail.contoso.com as our OWA and active sync address for users outside the office.

My setup:

Currently the internal users are connecting to exchange via ex13-cas-a.contoso.com url
externally I have set webmail.contoso.com for all the services across the board. (unsure if it is even neccessary to have an "external" populated since we are using an ARR.

what does the certificate have to include? and in what order?

Please let me know if i have missed any information that could be useful in determining the correct certificate to buy.

thank you

Suggest you to read this

Also check the cert best practice below

Basically use minimum host name, this will save money and admin overhead. Don't need to add hostname to certs.
