Users are getting popups asking for password. Used KB #2762344  for Windows 7 clients but XP does not have the Credential Manager.

That is where xp stores saved passwords.

Start > Run > type: control userpasswords2 > Advanced Tab > Manage Passwords
Free Tool: Subnet Calculator

The subnet calculator helps you design networks by taking an IP address and network mask and returning information such as network, broadcast address, and host range.

I have seen this prompt happen when the password change did not get replicated to the Exchange server. When that happened to me, I logged into OWA, got prompted for the password change, and changed it there.

If there are saved passwords in there delete them for they are old passwords etc.  Exchange syncs with active directory and uses the credentials you signed in on.  If there is a saved password from the past stuck in there, it will prompt for credentials because its a bad password.  So remove those saved passwords.
