"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I have seen this prompt happen when the password change did not get replicated to the Exchange server. When that happened to me, I logged into OWA, got prompted for the password change, and changed it there.

If there are saved passwords in there delete them for they are old passwords etc.  Exchange syncs with active directory and uses the credentials you signed in on.  If there is a saved password from the past stuck in there, it will prompt for credentials because its a bad password.  So remove those saved passwords.
